Once we reached the shoreline, we started to see a wider variety of creatures, e.g. starfish, sea lions, and a heron.

Odie found a particular kinship with the sea lions.

We probably could have hung out on the water there for a while longer, but some other hikers asked us what we knew about high tide, and not knowing anything, we decided to make our way back.
